We always receive questions about the Rihla Arabic Academy, so this post will outline some of the most commonly-received queries.
Q. Where is the Rihla Arabic Academy located?
A: The Arabic Academy is an online platform.
Q. What courses do you offer in the Arabic academy?
A: Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Arabic courses. At the time of this post being published, access to the Arabic Intensive will include access to the Basic, Intermediate & Advanced levels. (This is subject to change)
Q. What prior knowledge do I require?
A: To register for the Basic course, you must be able to read Arabic. If you cannot read Arabic, consider joining The Learn Qur’aan Project first.
Generally, we only allow those individuals who have completed the Rihla Basic course, to apply for registration to the Rihla Arabic Academy.
Q. How long does it take to complete the Arabic Academy?
A: The Arabic Academy is comprised entirely of pre-recorded, self-paced course content. This enables you to study the material at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
We generally allow access to the Academy for a period of 24 months from the date of registration. (This is subject to change. Kindly confirm the access duration with us when registering)
Q. What do I do if I need help?
A: Once registered, you will have access to the Rihla HelpDesk. You may contact the HelpDesk at any time with any course or content-related queries. You will have unlimited access to the HelpDesk and may submit as many queries as required for the duration of your access.
Q. Do I need Internet access to participate in the course?
Q. Can I access the course on my phone, tablet?
A: Whilst many participants have successfully used their smartphones and tablets to access our courses, we advise you to use a PC / laptop to participate in the Arabic Academy. Smartphone and tablet capabilities differ so much that we cannot assure you of access using these devices.
